What is Leather in V Rising
Leather is a crafted item that can be made at the Tannery Crafting Station. The Tannery is a structure that is unlocked once a player defeats Keely the Frost Archer and harvests her V Blood. Keely the Frost Archer is found in the Bandit Trapper Camp in the Northeastern Farbane Woods.
How to get more Leather
Leather can be found by killing various enemies throughout the map. It can also be found within chests. Crafting Leather requires 16 Animal Hides and takes 30 seconds to craft each one (23s with castle bonus).

Best Places to get Leather in V Rising
The best place to gather Leather is at the Bandit Trapper Camp mentioned above. Many of the enemies here can drop it, they can also be found within chests here, and there are also bears and wolves in cages that can be slain as well. A secondary location to gather Animal Hides is in the Southwestern region of Farbane Woods, just above the West Starting spawn point. There are a number of bears that can be found here.
