How to get the Midnight Scythe Pickaxe in Fortnite
By purchasing a V-Bucks card in countries where they’re available, you will receive the Midnight Scythe Pickaxe as a bonus digital item if redeemed between March 18 to April 14, 2024. Fans in Australia, Japan, and New Zealand, have from March 19 to April 14 to redeem a V-Bucks card and get the Midnight Scythe Pickaxe.

V-Bucks cards are available at select convenience stores and retailers. V-Bucks received on Nintendo Switch by redeeming a V-Bucks card can only be used on Nintendo Switch, and V-Bucks received on a platform that supports Fortnite Shared Wallet can be used across other platforms that support the feature (Xbox, PC, Android, Cloud Gaming.)

To get the promotional item and your V-Bucks, all you need is an Epic Games account and to visit the Fortnite V-Bucks webpage. Click on “get started” and log in to your account. Enter the pin on your V-Bucks gift card and you will then be prompted to select the platform you play on.
The next time you load up Fortnite, the Midnight Scythe Pickaxe, along with your V-Bucks will be ready and waiting for use.
