Consumables in Classic WoW Season of Mastery are essential and generally required for any serious rading guide. Raids such as Molten Core in SoM have been buffed and have world buffs disabled making consumables more important then ever.
Blizzard has added increased herb spawns in Season of Mastery, therefore acquiring materials is much easier and prices for consumable reagents have dropped massively. It’s easier then ever to maximize consumes.
Additionally, herb spawns have a chance to drop a Black Lotus (for flasks) and herb/mining spawns also have a chance to drop Elemental Earth and Fire which has dropped the price of Greater Fire Protection potions.
