Cities: Skylines is currently a top seller on the Steam store.
For this week Tuesday, March 10th, Paradox Interactive's Cities: Skylines released on Steam for $29.99. That's not a very big price to pay when you consider similar titles such as 2013's release of SimCity is at Triple-A pricing.
Having won rave review and gaining relatively strong hype on internet communities, Cities: Skylines is currently the top seller on Steam Store and various digital retailers. For those interested in the game, there's a limited time 27% off deal in GMG's "VIP Gaming sale." All you have to do is just login or create an account on this page to see the two deals below:
Standard vs. Digital Deluxe
As you can see from the links above, the same percentage discount applies to both the base game and the Digital Deluxe versions. On a whole, there really isn't too much of a difference between the editions in terms of game play.
What you will get in the Cities: Skylines Digital Deluxe is the game's original soundtrack, a digital art book with 100 hand-drawn concepts of game buildings, and five in-game bonus items:
- Statue of Liberty
- Eiffel Tower
- Brandenburg Gate
- Arc De Triumph
- Grand Central Terminal
Whether or not that's worth the additional $7 or so dollars is up to you (thus far it doesn't seem like it'll be worth the admission price).
