All Investigate a Mysterious Energy tasks and rewards in Pokémon Go

Pokémon Go fans who missed out on the chance to capture Victini when it initially released during the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 event now have a chance to capture the legendary Pokémon. It’s available through a new special research project called Investigate a Mysterious Energy. It gives anyone who does not already have Victini a chance to capture it, but those who already have one now have a chance to earn more candy for it.

All Investigate a Mysterious Energy tasks and rewards

These tasks and rewards are accessible to every player in Pokémon Go. Make sure to finish them in a timely fashion to receive your rewards.

Task 1

  • Catch 30 Pokémon – 3 Pinap Berry
  • Spin 30 Poké Stops – 1,000 XP
  • Send 10 Gifts to Friends – 1,000 Stardust

Rewards: 30 Great balls, Ralts encounter, 1,000 Stardust

Task 2

  • Catch 30 Psychic-type Pokémon – Elgyem Encounter
  • Catch 30 Fire-type Pokémon Darumaka Encounter
  • Hatch 3 Eggs – Egg Incubator

Rewards: 1,000 XP, 30 Great Balls, Torchic encounter

Task 3

  • Take a snapshot of your buddy – 1 Poffin
  • Earn 3 candies walking with your buddy – 1,000 Stardust
  • Power up your Pokémon 3 times – 3 Hyper Potion

Rewards: 3 Revive, Espeon encounter, 1,000 Stardust

Task 4

  • Win 3 Gym battles – 1,000 XP
  • Defeat 3 Team Go Rocket grunts – A Lure module
  • Win 3 raids – 1,000 Stardust

Rewards: 3 Max Potions, a Victini encounter (or 20 Victini candy if you already caught one), 3 Max Revives

Task 5

  • Take a snapshot of Victini – 20 Victini Candy
  • Catch 30 different species of Pokémon – Incense
  • Send 3 gifts to friends – 1,000 XP

Rewards: 5 Victini stickers, 3,000 Stardust, 1 Star Piece

Task 6

  • Claim reward – 3,000 XP
  • Claim reward – 3,000 XP
  • Claim reward – 3,000 Stardust

Rewards: 1 Lure module, 20 Victini candy, 1 lucky egg
